Chile Wine Trails was created to give people more access to the fabulous wine regions of Chile, on a personalised level, and to go places they may not discover on their own.
I have always been a passionate explorer, with a love of travel, culture, food and wine. I’m an “off-the-beaten-track” traveller, who likes to dig a little deeper, stay a little longer, eat “outside the town square”, and truly discover and enjoy local foods and customs. My previous explorations have included extended periods in Europe, Central and South America, and various trips to the US and parts of Asia.
In 2012, I escaped the confines of the corporate world in Australia to return to South America and further pursue my passion for food, wine and travel. En route, I enjoyed a truly-foodie few months in London, France, Spain and Buenos Aires, and finally settled in the wine capital of South America, Santiago, where I started exploring ways to share my passion with others.
Chile has so much to offer, and Santiago makes the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding wine regions.
I love to see people enjoying their wine experience – learning new things, tasting new wines, meeting the people involved, sharing good food and, overall, just having a great time.
I hope that you will join me for what promises to be a fabulous wine experience.
