Join us for a day in the Chilean countryside as we explore different parts of Chile’s famous Maipo Valley.
You will visit three distinctly different wineries, each providing tastings and a unique experience, and enjoy a traditional Chilean lunch.
Our first visit is to an organic and bio-dynamic vineyard, just an hour away from Santiago. Explore the gravity-flow design of the winery and the underground cellar before enjoying two of their wines with a panoramic view of the vineyards.
We will then visit an historical property where we will visit the homestead and gardens of the Carrera family, now a national monument, and hear stories of their instrumental involvement in the fight for Chile’s Independence. During the visit, we’ll taste two wines from their range.
We will then stop for an authentic and delicious Chilean lunch, accompanied by a glass of local wine.
After lunch, we head a little further from Santiago to a family-owned and run vineyard, where you will taste 3 of their wines while enjoying a sweeping view over the natural amphitheatre of their vineyard.
We will then head back to Santiago after a great day of Chilean wine, food and history.
