Alto Maipo Mountain View

William Fevre Barrels.jpgRight on our doorstep, in the closest wine region to Santiago, there are some great wineries, with some wonderful wines, just waiting for you to discover them.

The region of Alto Maipo stretches into the foothills of the Andes, possessing a micro-climate perfect for the production of its well-balanced reds, and presenting amazing views across the beautiful valley.

First stop is an impressively designed winery with amazing views, where we will explore the winemaking facilities before ending the tour in the breathtaking cellar for a tasting.

We will then visit an historical vineyard, including the varietal gardens, wine making production, and visit the antique “cal y canto” cellars, now a national monument, before tasting 3 reserve wines.

Our next stop is a Chilean-style gourmet BBQ lunch, where you will enjoy three delicious courses in a beautiful setting, accompanied by a glass of wine.

You will then enjoy a three-course, Chilean-style gourmet BBQ lunch, accompanied by a glass of wine.

Next, we stop at a small boutique winery for a casual tasting before making our way back to Santiago at the end of a fun-filled and informative day.
