we ate we drank we got merry. And all off the usual beaten track of Chilean enoturismo. We asked Kylie to put together a package that would be interesting... read more and different and she delivered in spades. The tour was a family Christmas treat so started from our flat in Las Condes and took in William Fevre in Pirque (for an early thirst quencher) where we met the enologist who discussed the different terroirs up the Cajon de Maipu and around Pirque, and how they affect the wines. We had a mooch round the wine making facilities and then got to the important bit - a tasting under the trees (yummy) and some retail therapy in the bodega shop. We tried a chardonnay, a rose and the chacai (¿cachai?) a rather excellent asemblaje. Unfortunately we cleaned the shop out of it and would have bought more if we could.
Next stop was Chateau Los Boldos - not usually open to Joe Public but that doesn't stop Kylie! Here we met the viticulturist - the guy in charge of actually growing grapes good enough to make the wine. It was here that we learned how much a team effort the whole vitification is (and how the enologists steal all the glory!). We asked loads of questions, almost overstayed our welcome and of course did some tasting. Again excellent wines, no shop a few hints as to where you can buy them in Santiago. next stop was Anakena and lunch. We were late but we still got the tour description of the process tour of the gardens and shown how the leaves of the different vines differ. The to the restaurant which was outstanding. Delicious hors d'oeuvres awaited us while the chef put the finishing touches to lunch. Well he had some more wine with lunch and of course bought yet more (cases) in the shop. After lunch it was time for some photos and then the ride home.
Kylie provided a highly personalised service with a great selection of different vineyards and delicious at very reasonable prices. If you hadn't guessed I'd recommend going on one of her trips (unless you don't like wine or food). I'll be going on another soon I am sure.

She did everything to make sure we were comfortable, having fun, and fulfilled all our wishes and requests.
On our tour, we were picked up on time in a BMW (tour was only us two and one other woman) and whisked away to Santa Rita as a first stop. Although this is a major wine producer in Chile, the tour was a good size and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. We tried a few wines and Kylie, the tour guide, even bought each of us some snacks and another glass of wine to enjoy in the gardens before heading off to the next stop.
We next went to a small but amazingly tasty restaurant and were treated to a three course lunch with a bottle of wine, water, and coffee. We couldnt get over how good the food was and generous the tour was. Our next stop was a smaller winery, William Fevre, where we got to see the production area, speak with the manager, walk around the grounds, and try some of their best wines.
We would recommend this tour to anyone staying in Santiago or going to Chile! We thouroughly enjozed the day and tips for Santiagos wine bars afterwards!

EXCELLENT Based on 11 reviews Posted on Gary WannanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had one of our best ever holiday days with Kylie on a trip to the Casablanca Valley, visiting three vineyards, tasting at each and having a wonderful lunch. It was well organised, amiable and varied, thanks to Kylie who was such a great host.Posted on Michael Wake-WalkerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Many thanks to Kylie for an excellent wine tour. I was with my son, and we spent four days in the wine producing valleys near Santiago. From the very first wine that we tasted on the first day (a sauvignon blanc as it happens) the tour was a great success. Kylie's knowledge of the Chilean wine world is very impressive, and at every winery we visited it was plain that she has an excellent relationship with the winemakers and their staff. We benefited from that, as our experience at all the wineries we visited was great. The variety and the quality of the wines, the enthusiasm of our guides in the wineries, the delicious lunches and Kylie's charm and professionalism all helped to make it a most memorable trip.Posted on Glen MurphyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We spent 4 days with Kylie exploring Chile’s wine country, we were thoroughly impressed with our experience with her. Her personal relationship with the wineries and deep knowledge of the area meant our wine tasting experiences were wonderful. Since 2019, I have had the pleasure of enjoying Kylie's amazing wine tours and experiences and cannot recommend her enough. She goes above and beyond for her guests, puts them at ease, genuinely cares for their safety and well-being, and ensures everyone has a unique experience, whether they're visiting Chile for the first time or have lived here for a while. Kylie's Spanish is perfect and she is extremely well known throughout the tourism and hospitality industry in Chile, which gives her VIP access to a lot of special places and experiences that others might not know about or be able to book for their guests. During the 2020 Covid pandemic, Kylie was swift to pivot to fun online experiences, which lifted the spirits of people the world over by uniting friends and strangers around the joy of wine. Now that things have returned to normal, she continues to surprise and delight guests with the best tours and experiences hands down. Whether you join her for a large group adventure into Chilean wine country, a special dinner and wine pairing in Santiago, or a private tour, you won't be disappointed!Posted on Alistair CaddenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've been on a number of bespoke tours with Kylie to Pirque, Cachapoal, Casablanca, Maipu and Aconcagua, also a number of online tastings over the past 10 years. We even made empanadas! The events have never been short of excellent and with a very high level of service rarely encountered in Chile. For me the highlights are delicious, interesting wines, opportunities to talk to owners, enologists and viticultors (not just the sales and marketing teams) and great food stops! The days can be quite long but Kylie's sunny disposition and knowledge keep the tours clipping along. She also is adept at negociating great prices at the wineries for stocking up the cellar. Highly recommendedPosted on MC GrahamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our first tour with Kylie was in February 2020, right before COVID hit. The tour was so well organized and enjoyable, we knew we would explore more with her. Since that time, we have taken dozens of Chile Wine Trails tours. Some we organized just for ourselves, and other tours were ones that she advertised. They have all been fabulous! The wine, the food, the interaction with the Vineyard owners, each one was truly a unique and phenomenal experience.
