As we head south from Santiago, the Cachapoal Valley stretches from Rapel lake and the coast, to the foothills of the Andes, featuring diverse microclimates that allow for a wide variety of wines.
Visit this modern winery, constructed in year 2000, nestled in the foothills of the Andes. Enjoy a tasting of three of their premium wines and hear about their story as part of this wine making group.
Retire to the “quincho” for a delicious four-course lunch, paired with
three premium wines, revealing the secrets of Chilean cuisine. Whilst you enjoy your food, toast the mountain breezes and an unrivalled panoramic view of the Cachapoal Valley.
We drive to the entrance of the Colchagua Valley, to an historical vineyard. Visit the 100+ year old vines, tour the beautiful colonial buildings and cellar, and taste four emblematic wines from diverse terroirs.

Start your day at a vineyard situated on the oldest vineyard in the valley where you’ll hike to the Apalta National Reserve and the Chilean Oak forest. Visit the aromas garden where your senses will be ignited and you’ll discover the varied scents present in the vineyard. Visit the centennial vines, dating back to the 19th century, and the 1890 cellar. You’ll then enjoy a vertical tasting of two vintages of their flagship icon wine.
Next it’s off to lunch, to enjoy a delicious a-la-carte lunch at a restaurant of world-renowned Argentinian chef Francis Mallmann. You can select their wines by the glass, or select a bottle from their ample selection. Choose from a range of delicious seasonal dishes featuring local produce cooked over the fire as you take in the beautiful surrounds of the vineyard. *(Lunch not included in tour price).
After lunch, tour the architecturally amazing facilities of this organic and bio-dynamic winery, following the wine making process on its gravitational path. Then, enjoy a taste of two wines from their range, including their icon wine.
You can then relax while you’re transported back to Santiago at the end of an amazing two days.
