CASABLANCA COOL CLIMATE TOUR

Join the Casablanca Cool Climate Wine Tour, a region known for its cool climate wines due to its proximity to the Pacific Coast.

You will be picked up from your Santiago hotel and transported through the Curacavi Valley and Coastal Mountain range to your first winery.

FIRST WINERY…

First up is a visit to one of the first wineries to plant vines in Casablanca, Chile’s youngest wine region. You will walk through the vines and the wine making facilities, and hear about their organic and bio-dynamic practices. Then return to the tasting rooms to taste four of their premium wines, each emblematic of its region and showcasing the best of their terroir. Each wine is paired with its own specially-selected small bite.

SECOND WINERY & LUNCH…

Next stop is a highly-awarded winery earning international praise for their cool-climate wines. Visit the vines where you’ll have a scenic view of the vineyard, the wine making facilities and barrel room, then retire to one of their tasting rooms to enjoy a guided tasting of four wines.

After your tour, relax in their acclaimed restaurant where you’ll enjoy a set three-course menu specially paired with two wines from their selection, and finishing with coffee.

THIRD WINERY…

After lunch, visit an impressive property specializing in sparkling wines. If you wish, take a walk among the vines and visit the cellar, or just relax and enjoy your choice of tasting; either 5 sparkling wines, or 1 Sparkling wine and 2 two red wines from their associated wineries.

We will then transport you back to Santiago at the end of an enjoyable and indulgent day.

What she does best is show you varieties of wineries in both size and complexity.  She arranges great tours and lunches.  The tours are well paced so you see a great deal but have time to enjoy each winery and lunch.  We had two perfect days and I can't imagine anything better. It was such a relaxed experience - not having to think about anything because Kylie took... read more care of it all (driving, bookings, choosing the wineries, selecting lunch etc.) We felt perfectly pampered! The three wineries - Veramonte, Casas del Bosque, and Viñamar - perfectly complemented each other. And of course Kylie herself is a treasure! Charming, entertaining and not getting tired of our constant questions about the wines, wineries, and Chile in general. She also gave us recommendations unrelated to the tour that were very welcome. 					  I had done other Casablanca tours with longer-established companies, but we thought we'd see what Kylie had to offer.  I was sold when I saw that her tour included... read more lunch at Casa Botha!  There were 6 of us in a family group, and Kylie kept the tour to just us, which made for a more personalised day.  We visited two great wineries and had an amazing lunch at Casa Botha, where our guests really enjoyed David's hospitality.  Our visitors from New Zealand said afterwards that it had been worth coming to Chile just for the tour, and especially the lunch.  

Kylie is incredibly knowledgeable about the Chilean wine and food scene and provides an excellent service.  We'll definitely be back!
