PORT TRANSFER TO SANTIAGO

You will be picked up from San Antonio port and we head toward Santiago. Visit two premium cool-climate wineries and taste for yourself some of the unique wines of the San Antonio Valley.

FIRST WINERY…

Just up the road from San Antonio, we visit Chile’s first female-owned and run winery. Visit the premises and walk amongst the vines as you hear about her pioneering journey in establishing this innovative winery with its extreme coastal climate, which is now producing premium cool-climate wines and recognised as its own “Denominacion de Origin” (DO).

Finish with a tasting of four of their fresh premium costal-influenced wines.

WINERY LUNCH: Option One…

Crossing the San Antonio valley, we visit one of Chile’s premium organic and biodynamic wineries. The family arrived in Chilean Patagonia back in 1892, originally from Rijeka (nowadays Croatia) and, after a detailed study of terroir conditions, the fourth generation planted vines in the El Rosario Valley of the San Antonio region.

Relax in the restaurant and enjoy a five-course meal, specially prepared to pair with their premium wines.

WINERY TOUR & LUNCH: Option Two…

Crossing the San Antonio valley, we head into the Casablanca valley where you will visit a family project, the innovators of the region who take pride in making wines of unique character. Visit their unique cellar and their cozy “Almacen” (General Store) before enjoying a four-course seasonal meal especially created by a local chef to pair with their wines.

WINERY TOUR & LUNCH: Option Three…

Visit the highly-awarded Casas del Bosque, earning praise for their cool-climate wines. Visit the vines where you’ll have a scenic view of the vineyard, the wine making facilities and barrel room, then retire to one of their tasting rooms to enjoy a guided tasting of four premium wines.

After your tour, relax in the acclaimed restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a set three-course menu specially paired with two wines from their selection, and finishing with coffee.

We’ll then transport you to your accommodation in Santiago.

Other tours may be more well established but they can't compete with Kylie's personal touch!

She affords her groups personal attention and personality.... read more We visited Casas del Bosque, Emiliana, House and Casa Botha. They were all excellent and she clearly had all of the details worked out so all we had to do was show up and enjoy! I highly recommend taking a tour with Kylie!

					  We were two couples who had just got off a cruise ship.  All of us have toured .wineries across the world - France, Italy, California, Canada, Australia, and New... read more Zealand.

Kylie met us and did everything expected and so very much more.  It was apparent that this business is her passion.  The van and driver were both top notch.  

We visited 2 different wineries and while many tastings are just that, we toured both wineries from top to bottom, ending in wonderful tastings.

Kylie was involved throughout the day and her suggestion for lunch at a local restaurant was outstanding.  

We had a wonderful day with Kylie who treated us like friends rather than customers.  Once back in Santiago she gave us a tour of downtown Santiago before we were dropped at our hotel.  Not only would we recommend her to friends, we want to use her again ourselves!

					  This is a very belated review (our tour with Kylie was in late-2016), but my wife and I had an excellent tour of Alto Maipo together with Kylie and another... read more couple who we joined at the last minute. We visited three wineries and had a great lunch at a local restaurant - Kylie was very knowledgeable about the wines of the region and made the entire experience a pleasure. Very glad to see she's gone from strength to strength - highly recommended!
