We were two couples who had just got off a cruise ship. All of us have toured .wineries across the world - France, Italy, California, Canada, Australia, and New... read more Zealand.
Kylie met us and did everything expected and so very much more. It was apparent that this business is her passion. The van and driver were both top notch.
We visited 2 different wineries and while many tastings are just that, we toured both wineries from top to bottom, ending in wonderful tastings.
Kylie was involved throughout the day and her suggestion for lunch at a local restaurant was outstanding.
We had a wonderful day with Kylie who treated us like friends rather than customers. Once back in Santiago she gave us a tour of downtown Santiago before we were dropped at our hotel. Not only would we recommend her to friends, we want to use her again ourselves!
I had a great experience with Kylie, the owner of Chile Wine Trails. She's very knowledgeable and fun at the same time. She affords her groups personal attention and personality.... read more We visited Casas del Bosque, Emiliana, House and Casa Botha. They were all excellent and she clearly had all of the details worked out so all we had to do was show up and enjoy! I highly recommend taking a tour with Kylie!

It proved to be a great day out. Two wineries in good locations.
The second included a barbecue and the wine flowed. My group gelled together. Kylie was on hand and proved to be personable and passionate about the wines and area.
I should also mention the guides at both venues, knowledgeable and informative.
The transport used was very good, great driver and everybody commented on the standard of the vehicle used. Not always the case on some of our trips.
This is great option for folks interested in wine.
Great job Kylie
Kylie guided my husband and me around three wineries in the Aconcagua Valley last week (Jan 2020). The tour was excellent. Kylie is knowledgeable, friendly, and definitely knows her wines.... read more Each winery visited was very different, ranging in size from boutique producer to one of the larger premier brands with the tastings showcasing a wide range of styles of Chilean wine. Our tour also included lunch at the Flaherty winery where the food offered was absolutely divine. Only warning – most of the wines are so good you’ll drink all of every glass you’re offered…. A very enjoyable day out!
we ate we drank we got merry. And all off the usual beaten track of Chilean enoturismo. We asked Kylie to put together a package that would be interesting... read more and different and she delivered in spades. The tour was a family Christmas treat so started from our flat in Las Condes and took in William Fevre in Pirque (for an early thirst quencher) where we met the enologist who discussed the different terroirs up the Cajon de Maipu and around Pirque, and how they affect the wines. We had a mooch round the wine making facilities and then got to the important bit - a tasting under the trees (yummy) and some retail therapy in the bodega shop. We tried a chardonnay, a rose and the chacai (¿cachai?) a rather excellent asemblaje. Unfortunately we cleaned the shop out of it and would have bought more if we could.
Next stop was Chateau Los Boldos - not usually open to Joe Public but that doesn't stop Kylie! Here we met the viticulturist - the guy in charge of actually growing grapes good enough to make the wine. It was here that we learned how much a team effort the whole vitification is (and how the enologists steal all the glory!). We asked loads of questions, almost overstayed our welcome and of course did some tasting. Again excellent wines, no shop a few hints as to where you can buy them in Santiago. next stop was Anakena and lunch. We were late but we still got the tour description of the process tour of the gardens and shown how the leaves of the different vines differ. The to the restaurant which was outstanding. Delicious hors d'oeuvres awaited us while the chef put the finishing touches to lunch. Well he had some more wine with lunch and of course bought yet more (cases) in the shop. After lunch it was time for some photos and then the ride home.
Kylie provided a highly personalised service with a great selection of different vineyards and delicious at very reasonable prices. If you hadn't guessed I'd recommend going on one of her trips (unless you don't like wine or food). I'll be going on another soon I am sure.
I had done other Casablanca tours with longer-established companies, but we thought we'd see what Kylie had to offer. I was sold when I saw that her tour included... read more lunch at Casa Botha! There were 6 of us in a family group, and Kylie kept the tour to just us, which made for a more personalised day. We visited two great wineries and had an amazing lunch at Casa Botha, where our guests really enjoyed David's hospitality. Our visitors from New Zealand said afterwards that it had been worth coming to Chile just for the tour, and especially the lunch.
Kylie is incredibly knowledgeable about the Chilean wine and food scene and provides an excellent service. We'll definitely be back!
